A performance filled with the sounds of notifications and vibrations from phones. Two dancers perform a routine that feels familiar—it's something you do every day, like checking your phone when it buzzes. The routine is taken out of its usual context, showing how repetitive our actions can be. From the moment you wake up to turn off your alarm on your phone, to the last check before you sleep, your device is an extension of your body. Do you remember the last day you spent without your phone? Is it almost like a reflex to grab it when it beeps? Every time you grab your phone, every swipe, every tap—it's all being watched and recorded by big companies. This performance teeters on the edge of who's really in control when we're glued to our screens, looking through a researchbased process at how technology shapes our lives imagining that our bodies are being choreographed by the technology we use.
